Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is looking for a strong, thoughtful leader in our Personal Care Services division in our Albuquerque Services@Home division to lead our team to provide services to assigned clients in a caring, safe and efficient manner. This leader will be responsible to perform the following according to location standards, procedures and individualized plan of cares while demonstrating sound leadership.

Job Responsibilities

  • Accountable for ensuring the budgeting, marketing and operational integrity of the department. Initiates and recommends to the Executive Director changes and updates to policy and procedure.

  • Responsible for consistency in applying operational policies and procedure. Responsible for the execution and monitoring of the strategic business goals and budget.

  • Makes frequent sales calls and attends networking events within the community to expand market share. Collaborate with the sales team to create and maintain adequate marketing material for the department.

  • Provide internal training to ensure that all client unmet needs are identified and internal referrals are maximized. Plans and oversees employee educational and development programs for quality improvement and employee retention.

  • Monitors all aspects of department operation including, but not limited to, referral tracking, staffing, client care coordination, recruiting, hiring, orienting, payroll and billing. Monitors necessary reports.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all office staff are well trained super users of available and appropriate technologies. Plans and conducts the Professional Advisory Board and the QI Committee Meetings.

  • Develops and works with Home Office Billing to ensure that all documentation is completed timely and processed through the system for billing and reimbursement. Ensures that the agency maintains capacity for referrals in all parts of the service area.

  • Develop and monitor processes and procedures that ensure high levels of client satisfaction. Ensure follow up on all escalated client and caregiver concerns and complaints within the department.

  • Maintains complete confidentiality of personnel, patient and financial information. Contributes to a positive work environment and maintains a professional approach to clients; customers and fellow employees.

  • Monitor branch and individual progress of yearly goals. Present and track local PSD monthly financials and KPI’s. Supervises/monitors on-call services.

  • Develop and monitor processes and procedures that ensure high levels of client satisfaction, technology and systems, to include timely monitoring of compliance with regulations and conditions for payment. Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

  • Responsible for the execution and monitoring of the strategic business goals and budget. Establishes accurate budget for agency; works within budget. Utilizes Society contracts and vendors when applicable. Assures a client’s service and service plan are determined using true and accurate information.

Qualifications

  • Must be an active member of a local, mainline Christian Church.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related field.

  • Must be available to be on call when needed and to work as a caregiver when needed; must be willing to be involved in community organizations.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Prior knowledge of private duty or home care is helpful.
